SHIPPING

All US orders over $300 receive free shipping automatically.

We ship 4 days a week from Philadelphia. Everything comes minimally packaged with letterpressed tags, jute, muslin pouches, &c, and perfect for gifting. We pack each box with the least amount of waste possible, whilst ensuring safe transit. Please wait 24 hours from time of shipping confirmation before inquiring about a package as there may be a delay before the printing and scanning of the label.

 

A NOTE ON OUR OBJECTS

Our work is made from olde things, treasures found and recovered from misfortune and neglect, relics of the unusual, the confused and the macabre, cut and pulled and built into wearable curiosities, inscribable keepsakes and useable, longlasting treasures.

The materials we use have character, and that’s what we enjoy about working and creating with them. Although each object is described and photographed to the best of our ability, the sourcing of salvaged materials often lends to each product bearing unique marks of its past life. If you receive an object and it is not as you hoped, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right.

 

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an object, please contact at customerservice@pegandawlbuilt.com us within 10 days of receiving the package. We will send you a exchange/return authorization form that must be filled out and included in your package. 

Items must be shipped back in the condition in which they were received - with the original tags and packaging.

Please note additional shipping charges may apply, and will be responsibility of the customer. If you are an International customer, please note that you will be responsible for the duties and taxes, should they arise.

Gifts can be returned for store credit only.

 

RETURN POLICY

We will gladly accept returns on objects in new, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. If you would to return an object, contact us at customerservice@pegandawlbuilt.com within 10 days of receiving your order. We will send you a exchange/return authorization form that must be filled out and included in your package. 

You may return your item for store credit or full refund of the amount which you paid at purchase time. Custom and personalized products are not returnable. The buyer is responsible for return shipping to our workshoppe.

Refunds will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately three days after the date of processing.

Returned goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so make sure they are packed properly and cannot get damaged on the way. All goods will be inspected on return.

 

DAMAGED ITEMS

If the object received is damaged, please contact us at customerservice@pegandawlbuilt.com within 48 hours and include a photograph of the damage incurred. Some marks to wood products may simply be marks of the woods past life and are not considered damage. If you receive an object and it is not as you hoped, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right.

 

FINAL SALE/CUSTOM WORKS

Final sale and custom work (including engraving) may not be returned or exchanged. Final sale items will be clearly marked.

 

CUSTOM TUB CADDIES

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide correct measurements to the Peg and Awl team for all custom tub caddy orders. Directions on how to collect correct measurement are located here. If there is any doubt, please email customerservice@pegandawlbuilt.com before placing your order. Once order and measurements are received, your product will then go into production. These items may not be returned or exchanged.


JEWELRY

We will resize rings for free once (buyer is responsible for return shipping to our workshoppe) and for a small fee for any additional resizings. Since all gold jewelry is custom-made per order, it may make up to 3 weeks to ship. Gold jewelry is not returnable.
