For those city dwellers, travelers and others wanting more security, the Tote has a separating zipper that tucks neatly in the bag when not needed.
Waxed canvas originated in the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s and became widely used in sportswear and apparel because of its waterproofing abilities and superb durability.

Great bag and great quality and durability! I’ve already taken it on a Plein Air outing with my Marlowe carryall, and my other small Peg ‘n Awl bags and it housed all of the supplies I needed nicely! I love using all of the bags, and plan on buying more soon!

This Waxed Canvas Tote is the BEST Bag I think I've ever purchased. The quality of the canvas and leather plus the attention to detail and overall quality of craftsmanship is superb far to others! I've been eyeballing these totes for awhile now and finally made the plunge as a treat to myself. It's so beautiful and spacious and exactly what I needed. I'm excited to see how it ages with use and couples so perfectly with my traveler's notebook! I've included a picture of my 6 lb chihuahua sitting in the bag for scale, and got the color "Spice". (The color tones may look a little off in my photos due to my pinkish plant lights but it's very accurate to the official photos)
