The Rogue Backpack is ideally sized both for jam-packing or light toting! It is a modern re-creation of a classic scout pack and is steeped in the traditions of exploration and adventure. As one scout motto advises: ‘Better to have it when you need it, than to need it and not have it.’

We are delighted to present you with rucksack companions for any adventure – The Little Rogue Backpack and The (big) Rogue Backpack.

- 15 oz. waxed duck canvas (19 oz. with wax)

- Adjustable shoulder and closure straps

- Adjustable and removable shoulder pads

- Straps, handle, closure and shoulder pads from vegetable-tanned leather

- Steel buckles and snaps

- 2 black steel snaps at the top to close the bag tighter

- 1 exterior pocket with black YKK zipper

- 1 large interior pocket fits up to a 17″ laptop

Custom Monogramming

Emmett, our laser engraving machine and in-house scribe, allows you to personalize our bags!

The monogram is laser-engraved on vegetable-tanned leather and attached with brass rivets (see the product photographs for an example). Note that the monogram does not replace the Peg and Awl brand. Be sure to include your wished-for letters in the order notes (up to 3) when placing your order! MONOGRAMMED BAGS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

My own little piece of history
I’m so thrilled that I managed to get one of the last few antique leather bags - it feels incredibly special to have that link to the past with me as I’m going about my daily business. The rest of the bag is beautiful and so thoughtfully constructed as well and I adore the colour, slate. Thank you Peg and Awl, I love it!

Quality and unique
I love Peg and Awl— don’t let the price tag scare you. I often have issues with products lacking craftsmanship or falling apart after minimal use. Not with P&A!!
The craftsmanship, quality, and style is outstanding.
I have the small hunter satchel in slate and I’m in love. I carry it anytime I use a purse. It’s perfect and I adore it. I’ve been saving up for the rogue backpack (which comes in the same color :D)
I can not wait to start my adventures with it.
It’s styling is minimal but modern, durable but not gender specific. I love how I can finally get reliable products that match my rugged, adventurous and strong style.

As always with Peg and Awl, their product NEVER disappoints. My photo doesn't do it justice! I purchased this bag for an upcoming family trip and plan on using it as my daily work bag after. I can't imagine how long it took to create this! Worth every cent, like all products from this A+ shop.

Perfect Companion!!
I bought this Rogue Backpack to be a companion to my Moss Rogue Backpack and I absolutely love it! I was able to get it in Radish and it’s gorgeous!! There is so much room and very comfortable to wear! Thank you so much!! Peg and Awl is the best!!
