No. 10, Bruno: Medium Hand-Bound Tin Type Journal
New All Black journals adorned with a antique Tin Types!
No. 10, Bruno.
Another little Tin Type collection is here! We've paired some beloved 'gem' tin types with some olde black leather found in a Philadelphia cobbler shop that closed down in the 1950s.
We've re-interpreted the olde framing design into the leather, with Emmett, our laser engraver, making these covers extra special. We've lined the journals with late 1800s black and white textiles that I've been hoarding for just the right occasion. Needless to say, I am really psyched about these little treasures and trust you will be as well!
Inside you’ll find line-free Strathmore drawing paper – thick, hand-torn, acid-free pages that work perfectly with ink, pens both thick and superfine, pencil, charcoal, and a myriad of other mediums. The pages are each hand-stitched with archival linen binder’s thread, shaped and re-enforced with linen tape and tarlatan and finished with a red and golden headband. The books can be carried daily and beat up. They are strong creatures, with no two alike which, making them each quite special.
