This one of a kind set of two Sandwich Plates combines a beautiful and extraordinary wood grain with distinct surface variations indicative of its past. Excellent for serving non-gooey foods.
The Sandwich Plate is a nod to a type of medieval tableware. It is ideal for sandwiches and has a small trench for salt, sauce or garnish. It can also be used as a serving board for cheese, olives and other small tasty morsels or flipped and used as a cutting board.
Each plate will vary in grain and indications of the wood’s prior use. Treated with Bartram Wood Balm. Hand wash in hot water to clean. Do not let stand in water. Refinish regularly when the board starts to get dull and look worn.
