Our impulse to refresh our beloved tote into a sturdy and whimsical mini version of itself has brought a new kind of lightness to our adventuring. Made with the same charming proportions and materials as our full-sized tote – including waxed canvas, vegetable tanned leather, and a detachable zipper. Pack light, throw it over your shoulder, and head out on an adventure!

Custom Monogramming

Emmett, our laser engraving machine and in-house scribe, allows you to personalize our bags!

The monogram is laser-engraved on vegetable-tanned leather and attached with brass rivets (see the product photographs for an example). Note that the monogram is on the reverse side of the bag and does not replace the Peg and Awl brand. Be sure to include your wished-for letters in the order notes (up to 3) when placing your order! MONOGRAMMED BAGS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Perfect for my printmaking tools on the go!
I have several items from Peg and Awl and they are all so incredible! I'm a printmaker with a day job, I purchased this mini tote to carry my tools to work so I can work on linoleum blocks during my lunch break. The front pocket holds my honing block and a nail brush, the main pocket fits 7 Pfeil carving tools (with wine corked ends to protect everything) with room to spare, and the inner pocket fits all of my pencils/sharpies/ect with headspace to reach in and pull out what I need. I love how the zipper tucks out of the way when I'm actively working out of the bag, then zips up when I'm carrying it. The zipper also leaves a nice valley for my rolled up grip mat on top. Also, I love how the strap on top goes down to hold my grip mat, but tucks up and behind the far handle to stay out of my way. When I recieved it, the wax had 'sweat' during the hot travel, Margaux was wonderful in responding to my questions, and within a day, the wax resettled back into the canvas. I adorned the bag with a pin that matches my Pfeil tools! Their work is WELL worth the price, please don't hesitate if you're on the fence!

Beautiful Made Tote
A well crafted and sturdy beautiful waxed canvas tote to use for everyday carry. It closes securely with a leather strap to keep things in place or from falling out. There were many choices of colors to choose from. Peg and Awl have been crafting superb leather and wood products over the years that are made to last.

Not too big, not too small. Really appreciate the option of removing the strap. Love all your waxed canvas colors, but am especially fond of the moss.
