Our team here does everything it takes to run a business – from imagining to prototyping, designing to manufacturing, creating systems and plans, shipping, marketing, and customer service! Part-Time Woodworking Production Assistant

Peg and Awl is hiring a Woodworker to help make Peg and Awl products from start to finish and to help with custom building projects around the shop!
 
We are searching for a part-time (20-30 hrs a week) Production Assistant who is hardworking, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, logical, and passionate with great communication skills and has interest in team building.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone who is goal and task oriented and isn’t afraid to get dirty or work hard! 
 
Peg and Awl is ever-evolving. Applicant must welcome change.
 
Required skills:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a woodshop
Basic understanding of traditional woodworking fundamentals
Basic understanding and experience of woodshop tools such as, Tablesaw, Chop Saw, Jointer, Thickness Planner, Bandsaw, Drill Press, Belt Sander and Orbital Sander
 
The starting pay rate $16/hr to $20/hr based on experience and skill level
with raises as training progresses. Benefits include paid lunch, PTO, health insurance for full-time employees and profit sharing.
 
Start date is as soon as possible.
