    I left the workshop inspired!

I think something very special happens when you put people who are passionate about their craft into one room. Their passion becomes contagious!

I walked in to the workshop enchanted by Warwick Furnace Farm. It was a delight to walk in its halls, see the gallery, the studio, and the workshop. The venue was so charming and I felt as if I were transported to a different era. It was strange, otherworldly, and beautiful! I was in awe.

The actual workshop flew by quickly. I couldn’t believe how many hours had passed as I was so engrossed by the process, the materials, and the discussion. Margaux, Thomas, and Claire made such wonderful hosts! It was also a delight to meet many creatives from all types of backgrounds there. The conversations were rich and delightful!

I left the workshop feeling so inspired. As soon as I got home, I ordered some leather and a few tools so I can complete the book that I had bound. I have so many paper scraps lying around and I’m looking forward to giving them new life in the form of a sketchbook.

I had a marvelous time and I would definitely go to another workshop in a heartbeat!

    An Inky Adventure

I'm so grateful I was able to attend this workshop! I brought my dear niece Maria with me; it was a birthday gift for her, but I felt equally gifted myself! From the welcoming mist of soothing lavender to the magnificent space to all the delightful and talented people in attendance, it was a truly memorable day. Learning about the ink making process was fascinating, and even though it's not perfect I love the little book I made. Maria also enjoyed the bookbinding and found it quite relaxing😊

Margaux, Thomas and Claire were kind and gracious hosts, happy to help with our projects and answer our questions. It was a very special and unique experience, and the first of many I hope! Many thanks to Peg & Awl, Warwick Furnace Farm and A Rural Pen for making it possible ✒️📖🪻
