Unopened boxes of antique French pen nibs are lovely time capsules even before breaking the seal. We have four nib styles whose number and box colour are a mystery, so I’ve made some scribbles to help!
No. 321 are all thin points each with their own charm. They are thin and scratchy-scratchy and reminiscent of crow quill nibs — my favourite! When the nibs gets snagged in paper fiber, splash — a lovely little spray results.
The boxes alone are exquisite and can be used in their own projects. How I adore the quality and integrity of these old treasures.
These nibs work with a standard pen nib holder.
