The Black Spot Books came before Peg and Awl – it was a world of books and jewelry and art. I found this old ring, featuring a Heart and Skull, and mysterious other bits, and made more.

Very pleased with the craftsmanship and (frankly) weirdness of the Medicine Ring. In its craft it has an ancient quality, as if it were a Medieval mudlarking find. Its design reflects this too with its medley of symbols in a Masonic-like cluster arrangement. It’s weird, in that the clean lines of modernity have been set aside for this older-seeming, mysterious, and rough hewn object—yet it is feather light. I am so looking forward to gifting this to my arty, wiccan-interested daughter.
