Description
The Mini Sendak is a compact companion for the minimalist adventurer who wants a lighter haul. It has all the charm of our classic Sendak: waxed canvas, vegetable-tanned leather, lots of pockets, and a zip pouch. We’ve made the pen pockets a little wider to accompany water brushes and fountain pens. Roll it up, throw it in your bag, and set out on an adventure.
I imagine Goldilocks would deem this one ‘just right’!

I love using my spice mini artist roll, it holds so much without being too bulky or heavy. Right now it's filled with 25 Supracolor watercolor pencils, 2 waterbrushes, 2 fineliners, a mechanical pencil and a stik eraser. The zipper pocket easily fits my Art Toolkit pocket and demi palettes, a kneaded eraser, small vinyl eraser, a small white pastel pencil, a grey watercolor pencil and a Stabilo black pencil in a tiny plastic bag. The outer pocket holds a few small pieces of scrap watercolor paper. A piece of sock that I use to wipe off my waterbrush lays inside as I roll it up. One of my favorite features is the way the roll stands up when I'm sitting at a table. A beautiful, high quality roll!

I had been lusting after a Sendak for a good 2-3 years but could never justify the expense, until one day I just decided that I didn't need to justify it 😆. I bought the mini to get me started but I'm sure I won't stop there. It's so beautifully made and I love that you can fit so much into it and that it moulds itself to the contents. I bought the Sweetshrub colour which is beautiful. I've already taken it on my travels and to the beach!! It's super practical.
