Description
Join us on Sunday, July 28, 2024 for an afternoon of magic and exploration led by Thomas of A Rural Pen, and myself, Margaux Kent, at the enchanting, historic Warwick Furnace Lavender Farm with artist Claire Rosen! We will begin with a stroll and end with play. Thomas will share his ink-making adventure and give a demonstration (really, a magic show) of the process. I will share my journey in Bookmaking. We will sew books, make ink, and spend time nibbling and making marks together.
Each participant will receive a special Peg and Awl Writer’s Pouch filled with treasures – Powdered Ink, Vintage Pen and Nib, Bottle and Label for Ink, Warwick Furnace Farm Lavender Essential Oil, Postcards, and an Anselm Bookbinding Kit (approx. $130 value).
Snacks and supplies for ink and book making included.
