Constructed with durable waxed canvas and finished with brown vegetable tanned leather, our Tote is a blank slate waiting to be marked with the adventures and stories of use. This is the holy grail in unisex carryall totes: practical and perfect in every way. This tote was built to endure. Load it up, bring it everywhere.
For those city dwellers, travelers and others wanting more security, the Tote has a separating zipper that tucks neatly in the bag when not needed.
Waxed canvas originated in the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s and became widely used in sportswear and apparel because of its waterproofing abilities and superb durability.

Purchased the tote at a very discounted price and very y happy with my purchase. It was a little marked up but not anymore than it will b with use. Great size. Holds everything I need for drawing/painting. So many pockets and the zipper is a nice touch-helps keeps it all in when I put it down.

I bought two of these and it gave me a way to try out this bag. The production sample was in great shape. I also bought the one with a hole. This turned out to be what looked like staple holes in the bottom. It works perfectly for my new knitting bag.
And I can tell you that this waxed canvas does not leak when wet. Very happy with all my Peg and Awl purchases.
