I bought the Waxed Canvas Tote (along with the walnut Knife Rack) and was absolutely delighted when it arrived. The quality of the materials and the sturdiness of its structure made me fall in love with it immediately! You can tell a lot of grit and personal manufacturing had gone into the making of it. As opposed to the usual high street handbags (that may only last you a year or more), I feel like I have found my forever bag...

This was exactly what I was looking for - for years. It is by far the most convenient and well-designed bag I’ve used, doubles as a handbag and carry-all. I was tired of needing two bags to take to work, and everything else I’ve tried was either too big, for too small - the size of this is perfect. I opted for the bag without zipper since I prefer a bag with easy access and I don’t live in an area with pickpockets. But since I do travel to big cities, I added a zippered Maker Pouch, also in Truffle, and I keep all the “valuables” in the Pouch. I am very impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship of these bags - no fussy details, solid construction, and well designed for function. I would highly recommend.
