The Sendak Artist Roll was designed with the nomadic artist in mind. This treasure carries your current arsenal of tools with you from the studio to coffee shop en plein air.
In the Kent family, the Sendak has become an interactive centerpiece. Placed in the center of a table or picnic blanket, a group of drawers and dreamers gathers ’round. A session begins and ends with the Sendak, filled with a bouquet of colors, brushes and pens. As its namesake Maurice Sendak wrote, “Let the wild rumpus start!” And get messy – because clean-up is easy!

Imagine this, you walk into your favorite coffee shop, you order "The Philosopher" (Dark Mocha Latte with cinnamon and notes of hazelnut, obviously) It only takes one sip and you've found your happy place. Time to get to work! Take your seat, remove your shiny new Sendak from your bag, and bask in its beauty. Wait, you've finished your coffee? You've been here for 45 minutes and all you've done is sip and drool. And where did these incredibly beautiful but creepily obsessive photos come from?

This product is great! I really love the versatility of it and was able to get everything in it that I needed. I can use it for my art supplies and/or every day carry. Really durable, great material and obviously well made. My only heartburn is the size of the "Sendak" patch on the front - it's not a deal breaker, but it just kind of stands out as something that could have been smaller or even added to the belt. Definitely recommend this product to anyone!

My third purchase from this shop. Impressed with the design and built quality that worth spending. Own mini sendak but been laying eyes on the original one as well. For $200+ I expected a much higher quality item. The material is super thin, brittle canvas. I expected a durable canvas, but you can see the sunlight through this thing. In addition, the $15 tool protectors were just slips of brittle book board. It's cute, but for over $200, it feels incredibly flimsy.
