Initially I purchased the Drafter Pouch for my pencils. Then I got lucky and got The Sendak artist roll for my birthday. Seeing the quality of these pieces made it easy for me decide to go for the
waxed canvas tote knowing it would be great quality. I liked the bag when I saw it. I loved it more when I unboxed it, but now that I have used it and had it for a bit I adore it.
I needed a nice, sturdy, and spacious bag to carry all my creative supplies and tools with me anywhere. It's everything that I needed in a tote and more because the craftsmanship is superb. I chose the larger all-black waxed canvas tote despite being a petite girl because I needed it to be spacious. Naturally I thought that a leather strap might be a bit uncomfortable after a while of carrying significant weight but I was pleased to find that the strap rests comfortably on my shoulder without digging into it. I even take it on regular hikes with my dog in tow.
I carry my sketchbooks pens and DSLR with room to spare. I am completely pleased with it.
