Poison for Breakfast Book with Illustrator-signed Bookplate

I love this book. I had read a few reviews prior to purchasing and was worried it might not live up to Snickety 's previous works. No problem. It's a great book to clear some cobwebs in the old noggin and look at the English language anew.

I hadn't yet read anything by Snicket, and I am also not one prone to impulse purchases; but when I saw on your website that he came out with a new book with Margaux's illustrations I knew immediately this was an item I wanted in my possession. I was not disappointed. I feel like the drawings capture the feelings he wanted to convey, and the book itself is irresistibly charming in a beautifully melancholic way. I plan to reread it at some point and have since lent it to two other people.

I gave this inside the book bag I purchased for my bookish niece - she’s a young adult who has an impressive book collection, but didn’t have this one. She loves the story and the illustrations.
