$96.00 - $560.00

Often times our most wonderful discoveries are merely the recognition of what is before us – and in this case under foot! Our botanical jewelry collection was inspired by our unearthing of the usefulness of invasive weeds and pays homage to its winged cultivator.

PURSLANE (portulaca oleracea)
origin: Cosmopolitan Species
edible notes: Leaf and stem. Slightly tangy
nutrition: Iron, Omega 3 fatty acids
in season: All year
medicinal use: Antiseptic

Purslane is a plump, rambling succulent with gentle yellow flowers that open only when the sun shines – rather ill-fitted to being called a weed. It is salty and crunchy – a satisfying edible (and rich in Omega 3 fatty acids!) that makes a great addition to salads. It certainly takes over, but our mouths and tummies are happy for this.

- Recycled metal
- Botanical illustration engraved into the metal
- Intaglio engraving makes excellent wax seal
- 3 metal choices available
- Giftable packaging with a polishing cloth

Gold

All gold jewelry is custom-made per order and may take up to 2 weeks to ship. Gold jewelry is not returnable.

Bronze

Many people experience a greening effect when they wear bronze, brass or copper jewelry. Our recycled bronze rings are treated and sealed to lessen tarnishing and skin discoloration, but eventually the treatment will wear off. The simplest way to re-seal is to use clear nail polish.
