Description

We sifted through our field of vintage zippers in the warehouse and extracted a springy new batch that inspired our Bloom Essentials pouch. Quantities are limited to the number of zippers we uncovered.

This waxed canvas pouch in truffle comes in a variety of zipper colours. It has a wide gusset which allows the pouch to sit open for easy access. As with all of our bags, the more this is used, the more broken in and cozy it will get.

Constructed waxed canvas originated in the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s and became widely used in sportswear and apparel because of its waterproofing abilities and superb durability.

- 15 oz. waxed duck canvas (19 oz. with wax) (Truffle)
- Vintage zipper
- Brand from vegetable-tanned leather
- Brass rivets

Custom Monogramming

Emmett, our laser engraving machine and in-house scribe, allows you to personalize our bags!

To add a monogram, just order the monogram add-on with your bag. The monogram is laser-engraved on vegetable-tanned leather and attached with brass rivets (see the product photographs for an example). Note that the monogram is on the reverse side of the pouch and does not replace the Peg and Awl brand. Be sure to include your wished-for letters in the order notes (up to 3) when placing your order! MONOGRAMMED BAGS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

    Love This Small Pouch

    I like the size, function and colors of this great little bag. It holds my entire small sketchkit: the @arttoolkit, waterbrush and a tiny porcelain palette. Amazing!

    I have purchased several well made items from P & A but the BLOOM pouch is one of my favorite items...the size is good and the orange zipper is a happy accent !

    I’m a pencil user so

    I’m a pencil user so always on the lookout for an extra pencil case. Has to be unique, which this one is. The waxed cotton is sturdy, the orange zipper that glides all add up to a beautiful piece. Thanks.
