Description
We’ve made some Sendaks for friends and for each other over the years with small drawings on the front and we often receive inquiries for them.
Ten slots are open for your personal art on Sendaks this week.
The Sendak Artist Roll is designed with the nomadic artist in mind. This treasure carries your current arsenal of tools with you from the studio to coffee shop to en plein air.
In the Kent family, the Sendak has become an interactive centerpiece. Placed in the center of a table or picnic blanket, a group of drawers and dreamers gathers ’round. A session begins and ends with the Sendak, filled with a bouquet of colors, brushes and pens. As its namesake Maurice Sendak wrote, “Let the wild rumpus start!” And get messy – because clean-up is easy!

- 10 oz. waxed duck canvas (14 oz. with wax)
- Vegetable-tanned leather strap
- Brass buckle

Replace the standard Sendak brand with a custom laser-engraved brand featuring your own original artwork!
Instructions
- Send us your artwork at info@pegandawlbuilt.com and include your order number
- The artwork must be line art in monoscale (black and white only) with no greys or colors. Black space is engraved; white space is not
- Vector formats are preferred. Acceptable file types are: .ai / .svg / .eps / .png / .tif / .jpg
- Artwork will be nestled between “The Sendak” and “Peg and Awl” text
- We will send one preview image for approval before engraving
- We reserve the right to reject any artwork
