The Sendak Artist Roll was designed with the nomadic artist in mind. This treasure carries your current arsenal of tools with you from the studio to coffee shop en plein air.
In the Kent family, the Sendak has become an interactive centerpiece. Placed in the center of a table or picnic blanket, a group of drawers and dreamers gathers ’round. A session begins and ends with the Sendak, filled with a bouquet of colors, brushes and pens. As its namesake Maurice Sendak wrote, “Let the wild rumpus start!” And get messy – because clean-up is easy!

I bought the product on a recommendation for my friend, and it was very well-made and exactly as described. The pocket on the back is sufficiently sized for a standard notebook (I use the Leuchtturm 1917 Bullet Journal BTW) .
One negative is that the pockets are sized for thin artist paintbrushes. For me as a writer, the pockets are extremely tight for my pens. I would recommend that they produce another version for writers: instead of 16 brush pockets, potentially only have 10 or 12 larger pen pockets. Other than that, it’s a great companion!

Maybe a little bit bigger than a i was expecting, but it´s worth it.
