Constructed waxed canvas originated in the sailing industry in Scotland in the 1920s and became widely used in sportswear and apparel because of its waterproofing abilities and superb durability.

This is such a nice size to corral pens, small watercolour pallets, washi tape, small A6 notebooks and other bits for journaling and art endeavours. Not too big or too small! But with enough width at the base to stand up on its own. I picked it up in Moss and straight away squished, scrunched and balled it up several times it to bring out some crazing in the wax coating to give it a more broken in appearance. It fits inside the mini tote with room to spare for notebooks and other supplies, and will be coming with me on many an adventure.

This is my first pouch from P&A, and like all their products, this one is well made and has that magical vibe. I use it for art supplies, but for a trip this weekend I’m going to use it for essentials. It’s big enough to throw in my satchel, but small enough to not take up too much room. Also, the marigold color is wonderful.
